On Saturday 27 July 2002 a group of people will meet near Cambridge for an Amateur Radio Astronomy day. Present will be persons from the BAA, UKARANet website and others. Peter King will be looking after the arrangements for the day.

The day

Everyone will meet at the White Horse pub in Barton at 12h15 for lunch and an informal chat.

The group will travel to the Observatory for a tour starting at 14h15.

The University of Cambridge Radio Astronomy Observatory is close to the village of Barton, about 4 miles outside Cambridge.

From the M11, take the junction marked A603 to the West. A quarter mile from the M11 you'll see a sign "Barton". The White Horse is a little further on opposite a Q8 garage.
